Barranco de los Conejos beach is located on the island of La Graciosa, a small island situated north of Lanzarote, in what is known as the "Chinijo Archipelago." It is situated in a virgin and isolated area that can only be accessed on foot. It can be found after a short walk from Caleta de Sebo heading towards Pedro Barba, the only two towns on the island.

The beach is characterized by its fine white sand mixed with volcanic gravel. It is a windy beach, but the waters are calm. It measures 70 meters long by an average width of seven meters and, being isolated, it lacks services.

It offers impressive views of the small village of Pedro Barba, located at the southeastern tip of La Graciosa, the imposing Famara cliffs of Lanzarote, and the Roque del Este on the horizon.

Unlike other more crowded beaches in La Graciosa, such as La Francesa or La Cocina, Barranco de los Conejos is a less frequented spot. Many tourists pass by on their way to Pedro Barba without stopping to explore this hidden gem along the coast. However, those who venture to discover it are greeted with an idyllic landscape and a sense of peace that they will hardly forget.

El barranco

One of the most popular routes begins in the village of Caleta de Sebo and winds through the ravine to reach Playa de las Conchas, one of the most beautiful beaches in La Graciosa. The hike takes approximately two and a half hours and offers spectacular views of the volcanic landscape and the sea.

It is important to note that Barranco de los Conejos is a protected area, and it is necessary to respect the flora and fauna of the region. Additionally, it is crucial to bring water and sunscreen, as the area can be very hot and sunny in the summer.
