La Graciosa is a popular diving destination due to its location in the Marine Reserve of the Chinijo Archipelago. In its waters, you can find Macaronesian endemisms such as the black fula, the pejeperro, the rosemary fish, the abade, and more common species found in Canary waters like the vieja, the grouper, the abade, the salema, the galana, the sargo, the seifío, the cabrilla, the bocinegro, the sama, the roncador, the striped burrito, the moray eel, the briota, the cantarero, the angelote, stingrays, and hammerhead sharks.

Las Gerardias

The diving area in Las Gerardias, La Graciosa, is a must-visit for any diving enthusiast. Additionally, this is where the largest known population of the species Gerardia savaglia is concentrated in the world. El Veril de Las Anclas

El Veril de Las Anclas is one of the most popular diving spots in La Graciosa. Divers can enjoy a spectacular rock wall and a sandy plain that is home to species like octopuses, morays, congers, bogas, sargos, and castanets, among others. La Burrera

Diving conditions

Located at the eastern edge of the Atlantic Ocean, off the northwest coast of Africa, the Canary Islands are famous for their comfortable subtropical climate and sandy beaches. Water temperatures never drop below 17-18°C, and the atmospheric climate is always warm. Perfect for diving!

Additionally, there is a wide range of diving spots, which are usually situated at an average depth of 20 meters, but there are exceptions such as "Las Gerardias," which are more than 60 meters deep.
