Punta Delgada Lighthouse, also known as Alegranza Lighthouse due to its location on this islet north of Lanzarote, was inaugurated on April 30, 1865.
It is the northernmost lighthouse in the Canary Islands, located at the point that gives the lighthouse its name, east of the islet of Alegranza, in the municipality of Teguise. It is part of the Chinijo Archipelago Natural Park.
It consists of a 15-meter high, 3.70-meter diameter gray conical tower attached to a square-plan building with a constructed area of 207.32 square meters and a total usable area of 157.22 square meters.
